The following table provides information on provincial funding programs and funding eligible EMR systems in each of the provinces for which funding is available.

Province	Provincial Program	Funded Systems
Alberta	Physician Office System Program (POSP) The Physician Office System Program is going through a renewal to ensure that physicians receive the full benefit of EMRs. Through a Request for Proposal (RFP) process, three vendors were selected to provide EMR solutions in Alberta – Med Access, Practice Solutions and Wolf Medical Systems. These vendors must successfully demonstrate that they have met the requirements outlined in the RFP before being able to offer their solutions to physicians. Physicians have a choice about whether they will transition to a new vendor. However, POSP will only fund physicians who are using a qualified vendor or who commit to transition to a qualified vendor.
